Morton Ranch High School's Latin Fest 4

Morton Ranch High School's Latin Fest 4 will be held on Friday, October 24, 2008 in the school's performing arts center from 7-9 p.m. The fourth annual event in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15th - October 15th) is held to promote the Hispanic Culture during this important month. It allows students from all cultures to participate and share their love for Latino based dancing, singing, poetry, readings, tributes, cultures, and much more! This year's Latin Fest will have over 90 students and community performers and will attract more than 750 students, parents, teachers, and community members to the event. The special guests at this year's Latin Fest include MEGA 101 FM and Fox Channel 26. They will share with the audience the importance of a good education and believing that you can obtain any goal you have set for yourself. The money raised from this year's MRHS Latin Fest will go to the MRHS Latinos Unidos Scholarship Fund, which goes to seniors who participate in the event. Tickets are $5 pre-sale or $7 at the door. Traditional Spanish food and Latin Fest T-Shirts will be sold during intermision. For more information contact: Rómulo (Rom) E. Crespo: RomuloECrespo@katyisd.org
