| The Sugar Land Regional Airport will exhibit the work of the local artists from Katy Area Artists at its facility located at 12888B Highway 6 South. There is no cost to view the artwork; the public is invited. The terminal building is open from 6 AM - 10 PM, 7 days a week. The show’s theme, "Dog Days of Summer" , is derived from the time of year when we experience the hottest, most sultry days of summer typically between early July and early September. The ancient Romans believed that the star, Sirius, also known as the Dog Star, was somehow responsible for the hot weather. So while you may see an actual dog or two in the show the artwork will be aimed at depicting concepts and visuals related with the summer season. | |||
